Pockwock Lake watershed
The Halifax Regional Water Commission's website on watershed management: the Pockwock Lake watershed- 5661 hectares; the Chain Lakes watershed of approximately 240 hectares serves as the backup water supply to Pockwock Lake; and the Tomahawk Lake watershed of 1500 hectares (Sackville River watershed flow chart) is reserved as a potential future supplementary supply for the areas now served by Pockwock Lake!
