Fall River sewage spill forces

Fall River residents who use surface water for drinking or
other household purposes are asked to boil it for the next two
days.
A sewage overflow at the municipal facility at Fall River
spilled contaminated water into Fletchers Run, which feeds
into Fletchers Lake.
Halifax municipal officials ask anyone with questions about
the health aspects of the spill to contact the medical officer
of health at 481-5800 or Environment Department officials at
424-7773.
