Thanks again Shalom. I'm glad you are taking an interest in this issue. I will be passing it along to the Provincial people and the residents in due course. It will help all understand what we are up against. In Little Albro Lake these plants , while a nice colour, have taken up almost all of the shore line and are working to 50% of the entire lake and getting more invasive every year. Boating and swimming is not happening. I'm afraid that the Provincial and Municipal people will not see this as that important until it does hit a Lake like Banook or MicMac and then we will see the you know what hit the fan...and all we can say is we told you so......sad but hopefully not true. Other Lakes need to be examined regularly to make sure this plant does not get a foothold. We need action now. The Lakes Advisory Committee appears to be asleep on this issue as well.
