Dear Limnes,

Excellent excellent scientific website. 

Would you be so kind as to advise as to the highest and lowest lakes in
the United States (either continental or including Alaska & Hawaii) as
well as the highest and lowest lakes in North America. 

These stats would be by topographic elevation - ie, the lowest level lake
in the US is a saline lake called xxx in the state of xxx and the highest
level lake in the US is a glacial lake called xxx in the state of xxx.
